While researching plans for our visit to Rothenburg, Germany, I came across Rick Steves’ review of things to see and do there. One thing he mentioned was Schneeballs (snowballs), a fried dough ball covered in either powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, caramel or chocolate. He described them as a use for leftover dough.
