Machu Picchu with our new friends – April 2017

My daughter and I visited Peru for two weeks with Tucan Travel. It was the first time I’ve ever booked ourselves onto an organized tour and I’m so glad I did! The people in our group were amazing. We bonded immediately and still stay in touch. My daughter got to practice speaking Spanish on the tour and represented all of us since she was the only one who spoke Spanish.

We traveled from Lima to the Amazon Rainforest, to Cusco, to Ollantaytambo, Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley. We salt the salt flats, the countryside, Puno and Lake Titicaca. Our ‘Highlights of the Incas’ tour encompassed everything we wanted to see while we were in Peru and then some! Such a beautiful country! I was glad to hand all the arrangements to Tucan Travel and let them take care of logistics. It allowed us to spend our time doing what we really wanted to do — experience Peru!
