I’ve been collecting postcards since I was five-years-old. It is my all-time favorite collection. I’ve amassed hundreds in a few decorated shoeboxes. Sometimes I reach into a box and pull out a few cards at random. It’s fun to see who and where they’re from and what was going on in our lives at that time. My friends and family have started giving me postcards they receive, too, so I can add them to my collection.
I’ve decided to share some here. After all, who doesn’t love to read other people’s mail?
Sounds like an awesome idea. Let’s see ’em! Great site ๐
Thanks! I do love my postcards. ๐
We have gotten in the habit of sending ourselves back a postcard from each new country that we visit so I have a small collection of them myself! it is always a great way to pick up some new foreign phrases because I have found that inevitably the people who work in the psot office in a foreign country rarely speak English…not that I am the type of traveler that expects everyone to speak English wherever I go, I don’t…
Fun! I usually send my daughter a postcard while we’re on vacation so that after we’re back, she gets a little reminder of something fun we’d been doing. My postcards are my favorite collection.
Julie, your blog makes me feel incredibly small…. haha ๐
Oh, stop it, Louisa. That’s not the intent at all. You are wonderful!
I love postcards as well. It is a great hobby. I have also collected stamps and foreign coins. We have had pen pals across the globe. I love this blogging site. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! Postcards are my favorite collection. I sit and look through them sometimes just to reminisce.
What? Where? Can’t find them! ๐ฆ
