Brussels, Belgium

Brussels

This is my second business trip to Brussels. One of the reasons we hold our European training classes in Brussels is because English is one of the official languages. It does make things easier, though I’ve never been one to shy away from foreign languages.

As usual, I flew in a couple days early so that I could enjoy the city. Sitting in the Grand Place and watching people is one of my favorite things to do.

  1. Hey! Just wanted to notice that Belgium has only three official languages: Dutch, French and German. English is not one of them! English is a mandatory course in high school, so most Belgians speak it rather fluently, but it’s not an official language. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your trip to my tiny country!
