Never discount the variety of sights and experiences that can be found in the 50 United States. Though we tend to think of international as the most exotic, I think when we do that, we miss out on a lot of quirky sights and corners of culture that can be so different than ours. Think about the Native American lifestyle of the southwest and/or Alaska; the square dancing tradition of Kentucky; the Amish in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.

And what about all the American iconic sights that draw travelers from around the world?

Sometimes it’s just not feasible to jump on a plane and travel abroad, and that’s okay. There are PLENTY of places for us to explore right here in the Good Ole U.S.A. Come with me!
