Italy. It has long been my mother’s dream to visit Italy, so we’re finally going to do it. She said she wanted to visit Italy before she turns 70, so we’ve made our plans for the summer of 2014.

We’ve got guidebooks and maps and are trying to figure out how we’ll cram in all the sights, scenes, and TASTES we want to experience on this sure-to-be-whirlwind trip. I think we can tell already that Italy will require more than one trip, so this time we’ll focus on the southern region – Rome, Pompeii, Vatican City, and the Amalfi Coast.
