Bloom to Bottle CBD – Acrely Farms

When you think of CBD products, what do you think of? A marijuana leaf? Fake marijuana? Something sketchy sold in a dark, smoky incense-infused space? There are plenty of CBD shops that illicit this kind of response. But the truth is that CBD (cannabinoids) are not pot-laced products that will leave you loopy. CBD is a medicinal alternative for people suffering from pain, anxiety, or sleep issues. It is not an hallucinogenic at all.

CBD products created by reputable producers can be highly effective. Enter Acrely Farms – a Bloom to Bottle Small Batch CBD shop in Salt Lake City.

Acrely Farms

Acrely Farms is the brainchild of two Salt Lake City women who knew how beneficial cannabinoids can be when grown and used responsibly. Britney Beardmore and Sarah Duke used their backgrounds in agriculture and medical research to create wellness products using natural hemp that they grow themselves. They believe it is important to follow the plant through its life cycle – from seed to final product to ensure quality. This is their “Bloom to Bottle” approach.

As Britney and Sarah tell it, Acrely started with a single seed that sprouted into a dream to share the healing powers of organic hemp. It’s where the name Acrely Farms comes from.

Owners Britney and Sarah

We knew that you could produce so much medicinal hemp in a single acre.” Which they did. But now they’ve grown to several “acres” where they grow varied crops across central Utah. Their approach is unique.

We start with the best seed selection for high quality cannabinoid production. We take care of our soil and only use organic and sustainable farming practices to ensure we grow the highest quality product. We hand plant and hand harvest all of the hemp flowers to maintain all of the benefits of the hemp plant.

What is CBD, anyway?

CBD is the abbreviation for “cannabidiol”. Cannabidiol is one of over 100 different chemical compounds found in cannabis and hemp. CBD has the most fame, and has been credited with many health benefits, such a managing pain, inflammation, depression, anxiety, improved focus, and better sleep.

We research all of our seed varieties to find the ones with the best cannabinoid production and benefits for our customers. We have high CBD varieties that are good to ingest for sleep, as well as using topically to reduce inflammation.

We also grow CBG, cannabigerol, which research shows to be faster acting to reduce anxiety and provide mental clarity and focus. We feel it is important to grow an array of varieties to provide the right benefit for our customers!

Cannabigerol strains are a little harder to come by. Acrely Farms grew a specific White CBG strain last year, containing a high concentration of CBG.

What is CBG?

CBG helps improve focus and energy, reduce gut and intestinal inflammation, combat MRSA and other bacterial infections, decrease neurologic symptoms of pain, help smooth muscle contraction, and quickly counteract anxiety.

Their first product was their Acrely Hemp Extract Oil, which they consider their most versatile product. The oil can be a powerful natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It can provide much needed relief for dry, irritated and inflamed skin, can help with joint pain as a topical massaging oil, or as a sleep aid that you can ingest before bedtime.

Acrely now offers CBD sleep gummies, too. I’m not a good sleeper, but these definitely helped me fall asleep and stay asleep — a minor miracle for me.

Where can you buy CBD?

Right here, of course. 🙂

Acrely Farms is graciously offering my readers 20% off any order using the code CBDWELLNESS.

CBD is still so misunderstood. Many people think of it as a pseudo-high, but CBD isn’t what makes a person “high.” THC is. CBD is not intoxicating. In fact, CBD products must contain less than 0.3% THC in accordance with federal legal regulations.

So it won’t make you high, but it will help you relax, manage pain, and help you sleep. Success!

Have you used CBD products for what ails you?

  1. Peggy and I have both used CBD oil, gummies and capsules to help with sleep on occasion. There were large farms in the Applegate Valley where we lived in Oregon.

  2. Would this be a regular sort of thing in the USA (or certain states) Juliann – private ventures like this? And is it licensed? Here in Jersey it could be a profitable enterprise but we’re still hidebound by narrow prejudices and variances with UK law which make distribution difficult.

    • CBD is readily available in many states. There are reputable places like Acrely Farms, but in some places, the CBD shops act more like they’re “almost” recreational marijuana. They sell products that purport to give you a high like THC, but those places are questionable. They don’t create their own products; you rarely know what you’re getting or who made it. They really give the medicinal CBD products a bad image — because they’re not medicinal products at all.
