What is CBD, anyway?
CBD is the abbreviation for “cannabidiol”. Cannabidiol is one of over 100 different chemical compounds found in cannabis and hemp. CBD has the most fame, and has been credited with many health benefits, such a managing pain, inflammation, depression, anxiety, improved focus, and better sleep.

Peggy and I have both used CBD oil, gummies and capsules to help with sleep on occasion. There were large farms in the Applegate Valley where we lived in Oregon.
Nice. The shops around here go for the psychedelic tie-dye vibe, so who knows who makes them or what’s actually in their products. It’s a shame when CBD can be so helpful.

Would this be a regular sort of thing in the USA (or certain states) Juliann – private ventures like this? And is it licensed? Here in Jersey it could be a profitable enterprise but we’re still hidebound by narrow prejudices and variances with UK law which make distribution difficult.
CBD is readily available in many states. There are reputable places like Acrely Farms, but in some places, the CBD shops act more like they’re “almost” recreational marijuana. They sell products that purport to give you a high like THC, but those places are questionable. They don’t create their own products; you rarely know what you’re getting or who made it. They really give the medicinal CBD products a bad image — because they’re not medicinal products at all.
