Though Vermont is one of the smallest states in the U.S., it has a culture all its own. Occasionally you’ll see signs to “Keep Vermont Weird.” Or, as my friend pointed out, you’ll see signs that show just how industrious the people of Vermont are. (And a little weird.) Signs at the end of driveways that promote disparate things like: ‘Hay, Eggs, Massage.’ Or ‘Ammunition and Bait.’
Most people probably associate Vermont with skiing. Both the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks run through it. I also equate an organic movement with Vermont. They are very much a farm-to-table culture, which I loved. Vermont also has the most mircobreweries per capita of any state in the nation. And, some unusual drinking laws that go along with that.
